In the household were wife Ruby V. (age 33) and the following children: a daugther Ester A. (age 4), Ermadella (age 2) (Irma Dell, I think) and son James Otho Jones, Jr. (age 1). Otho was employed as a shipping clerk at a lumber company. Otho reported that he and his parents were born in Alabama. Ruby reported that she was born in North Carolina, her father was born in Texas, and her mother was born in North Carolina.

Otho married Rubye Vernon LEE, daughter of David Monroe LEE and Sara Elizetta SMITH. (Rubye Vernon LEE was born on 6 Aug 1907 in North Carolina, died on 28 Sep 1953 in Mobile, Alabama and was buried in Whistler, Alabama.)
