One is on the old Guy Wooten place, this one is the old Harrell Cemetery.This is the one where "Pap" and his wife, Elizabeth, is buried. The other cemetery is on Bill Bassett's place, near 2. miscellaneous notes. John was believed to be one of the negotiators with the indians when the Dancing Rabbit Creek Treaty was signed. John married Elizabeth PRUITT. (Elizabeth PRUITT was born in 1818 in Georgia, USA, died on 4 Dec 1892 in Carthage, Leake Co., MS and was buried in Old Harrell Cemetary on Pat's Hill, Leake County, MS.) |
