1. Census: Fifteenth Census of the United States Population Schedule, Apr 1930, Manilla, Big Lake Township, Mississippi County, Arkansas, USA. 1930 Federal Census taken in April 1930 lists Marion F. Glasco as being 39 years of age (turned 40 in Sept. that year) and his occupation as an operator at an oil station. He was married to Sallie H. Glasco and she was 42 years old at the time of the census. Their daugther Annie F. Glasco age 17 was listed as living in the household with them at this time. Marion reported that he was born in Mississippi, his father was born in Arkansas and his mother was born in Mississippi. Sallie reports that she was born in Arkansas and both of her parents were born in Missouri. Annie was born in Arkansas, and had a son, Dwayne Scott.

2. Sibling. Marion Francis may have had a brother named Elix A. Glasco, Sr.. I haven't been able to find thier parents names or information on any other possible siblings. But, in the 1930 Federal Census I found Elix A. Glasco (age 48) living in Big Creek township, Craighead County, Arkansas. Elix's occupation was listed as a farmer. His wife's name was Ornie, and they had the following children in their household at the time of the census: Ellen (age 16) Edith (age 14) Marcella (age 11) Syrtilla (age 6) and a son Elix A. Glasco, Jr. (age 4). Elix reported that he was born in Mississippi and his mother was born in Mississippi. I guess he didn't know where his Dad was born, it just says United States. Ornie reported that she and both her parents were born in Alabama. All of their children were born in Alabama with the exception of daughter Syrtilla who was born in Tennessee and son Elix Jr. who was born in Florida.
The fact that Elix and Marion were born in Mississippi and that their mother was also, and the years of their birth are close enough, I think they may be brothers. My father in law also remembers Pop talking about Elix.

3. Occupation: Farming. He also was employed in the logging industry

4. miscellaneous notes. This individual's name is listed as Marion F. Glasco in the 1930 Federal Census, however on the death certificate and on his gravestone at Elmwood Cemetary in Memphis, TN, his name is listed as Francis Marion. He was involved in an auto accident in Wilson Arkansas in the 1950's in which he sufferred brain injuries.
