Margie Allday Ward Buck, 86, died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at Crossgates Manor Nursing Home in Brandon. Visitation is 10 a.m. today at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with a 2 p.m. graveside in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Newton County. Mrs. Buck was a native of Newton County and a longtime resident of the Jackson area. She was Baptist and was a caregiver in the Jackson area for many years. Survivors include: daughter, Martha Ward Martin and husband, Ronnie of Brandon; sons, Wilford (Sonny) Ward and wife, Carole of Thorsby, Ala., and James Marvin Ward of Jackson; sisters, Nila Allday Myers of Raymond and Lucille Allday Mills of Tupelo; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
