RODMAN, Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Sr.

   Cause of his death was coronary occlusion, due to heart condition.

Rodman (age 43) was listed with wife Mary (Arcena) (age 26) and the following children Homer (age 20) Ben F., Jr. (age 16) Ellen (7) Edith (5) Opal (3) and Forrest (1) with a newphew Wilton (age 13). All residents were born in Arkansas. Ben F. (Sr.) reported that his father was born in South Carolina and his mother was born in North Carolina. Mary reported both her parents were born in Arkansas.Homer was the son of Mary Lindy, Ben's first wife. Both Ben and Homer reported their occupations as Laborer.

2. Census, 1880, Cane, White County, Arkansas. The 1880 Census shows Frank Rodman(age 3) living with his parents, A. T. & Mary (both age 47) Children of the home are Jennie (age 15), Alice (age 8) Nora (age 6) and brother Clinton (age 1). A. T. reports he is a farmer and Mary reports she keeps house.

Benjamin married Mary Lindy in 1895 in Searcy County, Arkansas, USA. (Mary Lindy was born on 12 Jun 1878 in North Carolina, died on 25 Aug 1905 in Arkanas and was buried in Oddfellows Cemetery, West Helena, Phillips County, Arkansas, USA.)
