3. Census: Tenth Census 1880 United States Census - Arkansas Page 179 C, 1880, Cane, White County, Arkansas. A. T. Rodman, age 47, born in South Carolina, listed as head of household and his occupation was Farmer. His wife, Mary was age 47, born in North Carolina and was a homemaker. Children at home were Jennie (age 15), Alice (age 8), Nora (age 6), Frank (age 3) and Clinton (age 1). All the children were born in Arkansas.

4. Religion: Baptist.

5. Military Service: Confederate Army, 1862. AT enlisted in the confederate army in 1862 ( found him on a soldiers roll in co K 36th ark inf and Co I 50th ark Militia he was a PVT)

Alec married Mary E. WILLIAMS, daughter of P. W. WILLIAMS and Nancy McDOWELL, on 2 Jul 1856 in Desoto County, Mississippi. (Mary E. WILLIAMS was born on 12 Jun 1833 in South Carolina and died on 25 Aug 1905 in McRae, White County, Arkansas, USA.)
